The first-ever Affordable Medicines Now Conference June 27-29 in Washington, DC was organized by Public Citizen and co-hosted by the O’Neill Center for National and Global Health, together with a number of partners. The purpose was to strengthen and expand the national network of activists who are powering the movement for affordable medicines at the state, federal and international levels.  A summary of the conference and information from presentations is posted here.  See the video of the session moderated by Rachel DeGolia, UHCAN’s Executive Director, on the connections between “Universal Health Care and Affordable Medicines.”
